THE BRIDGE INN
TOM & LORNA
We fortuitously came to the Woodford Valley for a New Year's Eve party back in 1992. We made wonderful friends here and so we continued to return from South Africa for a holiday visit almost every second year until we eventually made the decision to make the valley our permanent home.
EMMA
Our daughter Emma was instrumental in the decision to take on The Bridge Inn as she had worked here in her gap year from September 2017, and in November of 2019, we took over.
Within 4 months the pandemic had struck - and together with fabulous support from our local community providing prayers, produce and patience we are proud to have persevered!
ROBERT
Our son Robert has now also joined the team, helping in the kitchen, with the new wood-fired pizza oven and in front of house too.
RADLEY
And of course, arguably the most important member of the family, whom brings not only us, the most joy in the world, but also our customers, too friendly to be a guard dog, welcoming everyone at the door, introducing: Radley. Pub Dog, companion, stick-loving Fox Red Lab, loved by one and all, is our Radley-Roo!!
We all hope to continue to make The Bridge Inn a welcoming place for family, furry friends and visitors alike to enjoy.........

We'll be introducing you to all our chefs next week, just in time for Summer...
